humans have evloved to have wide and varied diet.


oh yeah and they sell turtles in the produce section of walmart in china.

so go for it!!!!


just make sure you cook it hot enough to kill any bacteria. maybe fry it...?

well, you can eat alligator, so i don't know why you couldn't eat turtle.

kewl... my bf went fishing yesterday, and brought home a HUGE turtle... when he asked me to get a recipe for turtle soup, and the instructions on how to clean it, I thougth he was joking! needles to say, 5 hrs later, we had a big pot of stew... just figured I'd wait till today to see if he got sick from it before I tried! :)

my dad was in the peace core in cameroon and ate alot of turtle stew and armadillo. they would heat up a big pot of boiling water and then throw it in live, and put the lid on tight! (the armadillo) and it would thrash around violently and they would have to have 4 guys keep it down, till the beast subsided. yum.

he also bought what he thought was elephant meat at a market, and they took it back to they're village and ate it, and it turned out to be HUMAN MEAT!!!!! no shit..

yeah, the instructions said that the first step is to cut the head off, but to be careful cause the head would still try to bite, and the body would still walk! heck, when they got the shell cut apart, the heart was still ticking... :|

and as far as the human meat- yuck! I don't think I could unless it was life or death, if I found out afterward, I'd be pissed!
