With the Summer kicking into high gear, Rhythm & Bass is heating up for another high end season down at the Empire Room. Check out these special events coming in the next couple weeks.

May 18th

U:Move and SkyLab Research presents a Rhythm & Bass special event.

Kemek The Dope Computer - Roke Records, Bedrock Breaks, LA. A true pioneer in the progressive breaks market, Kemek has been making electronic music longer then most even knew of its exsistance. Be there as Kemek takes the midwest by bass.

Also featuring R&B amd Syde-Sho.com Residents:

Rj Bass - Breaksworld.com, Napptown Records.

Rob Lee - Nepol Records.

Bucho - Brooklyn Squad.

After visiting his website I am really looking forward to seeing Kemek. Does he do live PA or is this a DJ set?

Well since this is a free show, we couldnt afford to bring him and all of his equipment out to KC, so we are just going for the dj set, but rest assured he will be playing alot of his own music while here.

Only 11 days till Kemek, and the dj lineup for the memorial day party is almost completed. Respoce to the Kemek show has been fantastic (mostly cuz its a free show). I cant wait.

hey RJ do you know when Kemek is goin on because I just found out my cousin is graduating HS that day and it is about 2 hours away! This sucks I hate HS graduations!

Just in case you all havnt figured it out yet (but I know most of you have), R&B has two fantastic free events in a row. Fianls in most schools will be done so its time to kick the summer off right. You know how we do down at R&B. So you all best bring yo asses both weeks. And beleive me when I tell you we got lots more planned. Between all the U:Move events and all the R&B events, this summer is going to be the best summer in KC dance music history.
