Quick Reply Box

Just a suggestion, but I think a quick reply box would help a lot. I know it does on every other forum I go to. It just speeds things up (and really helps the 56k kind of people out there) instead of having to load more and more pages. Less bandwidth used, quicker and easier for the members...it's all good! But I don't know if this forum can support it, it's not like I've seen anywhere else. Which there are a few flaws I've seen so far...but that's another thread. :D

In order to have that I think they would have to totally change the board to the Post Nuke version of Phpbb and that is a hell of a lot of work but it is a good idea.

ACTUALLY, Syde-sho.com started out with a shout-out box.

And you dont have to do much with it...BUT, it does actually take up more bandwidth, and space. It accounted for almost half of the actual traffic, and webspace that this site takes up with all the rest of the features.

It was one of those things, that unless you emptied out the associated database regularly, it makes the site load much slower.

Alex I dont think they mean a shoutbox but a quick reply to post like St Louis Raver has on there forum. Instead of having to click reply it has the replay box at the bottom of the page so that you can just type your reply and click send.
