This may be a bad idea but when i went to Chaos a few friends and i tooks some pictures yeah it was on disposible and there fingers covered the lense but listen up we can get some nice shots and put them online just take a camera shot some shots of dancing, djs, cool people, ect. but you must use flash when neccesary and come on i know its bad and the venue people get all evil and yell and take cameras but with some good pix we can make the true vibe show also you can smirk at the press badges.....why didn't i get a badge huh? What about me :(

Its fine so i guess i will. I had to go and get some cameras that was confiscated from a friend of mine i had to grab it before it was completely trashed and believe me it almost was. But it was on top of the garbage can and i snaged it. Only press are allowed to take pictures and sometimes th pictures are of the same people and those people are all well either waving and smiling and posing. Lets pretend we are in Photographic Art 1...whats the number one rule in photographing people...Candid..Candid..Candid you must capture the event and the vibe and just the real people not the ones who jump in front of the camera.

maybe you haven\'t seen the events album?? i think alex and everyone else that takes photos does a great job of capturing the moment. there are great pix of the crowd, the dj\'s, what more are you asking for??
and a lot of places DO still allow cameras, like clubs and stuff. the uptown is just one venue. there are some that allow cameras.

dude i never said anything about the way they do their job i just want to see other peoples work sorryif it seems likei hate the album but come on we can have more pictures if people send them in rather than have press. Probably easier than taking a couple hundred shots.

what exactly do you mean when you say \"send them in??\" cuz if you mean, send them to the site, the administrators have more to do than just sit around and post OUR pictures. if you want your own photos posted on here, all you have to do is make your own member album. it\'s not that hard. then you can post all the pics you want.

I\'m still confused - alot of the pictures especially in the member albums are not done by \'press\' at all.

this is an interesting thread that i\'ve stumbled upon....
First... that is MY point... Candid. That\'s what I\'m after. If people want their photo taken, then I do that too. It\'s all good.
Second... You talk as if there is no point to what I and other photographers do.
Third.... too dark? Adjust your monitor.
Here\'s the link to do it. It\'s on my site.

You\'ll probably find that the pictures aren\'t so dark after all.
And if they are... ummm.... well, It\'s dark in there isn\'t it?
Anyhow... no grief wanted or intended, just stumbled across this and found it really rather amusing.
