10.) Play it soon because were leaving - If your gonna leave after its played, why shouldnt the Dj wait to play it untill the very last song of the night so that you stay all night?
9.) Hey Man, Nobody Can Dance To This - It's not advisable to say this when the dance floor is packed (but some people do anyways). But even if their is only one person of the dance floor it still contradicts the statement.
8.) What do you have? - It is alot easier for you to go have another beer and figure out what you want to hear rather then to have the Dj recite every record in the dj booth.
7.) I want to hear it next - The only person that can get away with this statement is the man who signs the paycheck.
6.) I can get laid if you play it - Why settle for one night? Buy the whole album andget laid for a month.
5.) Everybody will dance if you play it - The Dj wont. I guess that blows a whole in that theory.
4.) Everybody wants to hear it - Oh sure, you polled erevyone in the club, and as their spokeperson, you are requesting the song.
3.) I don't know who sings it, and I don't know the name of it, but it goes like this...... - Please don't sing for the dj. Dj's have to put up with smoke filled rooms, high decibles for hours, do them a favor and don't give them a rendition of your favorite song. And beside, the reason that the artist sings your favorite song is so that you don't have to.
2.) Would you play something with a beat? - Be serious, I know of no songs played in a club or party that do not have some sort of beat.
1.) Play something good, something we can dance to - Just because the current song playing is not your favorite song, does not mean it is not somebodys elses, try to think of somebody other then yourself. And any comment that starts off with "play something good" will usually resort to you getting your ass kiced or made fun of. 9 times out of 10 the dj beleives the songs he is playing are good and an insult like that will get you stompped on. And not to mention, that every song ever made is danceable in some way or another.
Jackass.
