EDM was introduced to me, back in 90, 91, 92, 93. (techno = technology music.)
it was crazy fun hearing autechre, future sound of london, prodigy, aphex twin, 2 bad mice recreating the definition of electronic dance music on monthly basis.
i wish kids could experience that, the open minded craziness of new music, not this "too cool for school, bs!"

yeah... if u like Oakenfold , there is a compilation series you should check out called "Euro Club Hits" --

it's pretty clear that dance music is coming back around the world -- just check the recent big American hip-hop and R&B hits which are clear rip-offs of the european dance style.....
