it is the coming of a new age, the aeon of aquarius. which is ushered in by way of galactic alignment, that does indeed have some effects on the planet, but i did not fall to agree that those effects would kill everyone.

it is PEOPLE that will kill each other, not the earth. not to rule out that nothing will happen to the earth, but it is this annoying disinformation that "the world is going to end" that just pisses me off.

i think the date itself, and its relevance to others is what bothers me. as long as the date remains in the future people wont have any incentive to change the way they live today. thats the way we are, dont deal with it until you absolutely have to ,and then its too late.

i agree that overpopulation and wastefulness are a problem, but as soon as the date and other predictions/prophecies/explaining planetary "natural cycles" join the picture it turns to hawgwash.

for example, its like not answering the call because you were too caught up with figuring out who sent the call,and how it was sent.
like reading a bible everyday but instead of virtuous living, one would rather debate and war over whose interpretation is most correct.
