x-posted from the main forum

You know, it's been said before, but it amazes me just how true it really is.

A lot of people are drawn to raves and electronic music as a whole b/c of the opportunity it presents for a spiritual experience... whether they're religious or not. Maybe it's the tribal feel of the beat, maybe it's bonding with others who enjoy the same music... who knows. But I definitely don't think it would be out of line to have a spirituality and/or philosophy related forum here on syde-sho. There are a lot of deep thinkers here on Syde-sho...

just thought i'd offer it up for suggestion :)

I like that idea too. One day I was thinking about that, the serious discussions forum is dead. Seems like people have to be provoked in to talking about life and death. If there was a forum for it, it might give people the notion to reach out and seek council from others on subject. Ravers are really bright, intelligent, knowledgeable, sophisticated individuals but you would hardly be able to tell that if you were an outsider looking in. It amazes me.

i agree--this is a great suggestion. i\'m sure that other enlightened folk will agree that it is hard to find each other sometimes and a forum just for us/them/everyone along those lines would be really fuckin cool. we need to stick together and try to be there for each other... ;)
