DJ Assault Electrofunk Records / Detroit
From the urban streets of Detroit to the suburban club circuit, DJ
Assault has been indoctrinating people with his own take on
electronic and dance music, and anything is game when he throws
down, -- as long as booties are bouncing. He has rocked parties
around the world, completely eliminating the lines that have
previously existed between techno and hip-hop culture and, in the
process, inventing a whole new genre of music which he likes to
call 'accelerated funk'.
Sage Phunckateck / Phylum / Groundscore / Eklektic
Sage has gained her notoriety through hard work, her exceptional
talent for picking tracks and for keeping the dance floors packed.
Besides being a DJ and producer, Sage currently runs her own record label, Phylum Recordings, with producing partner Elektra. With a well- received mixed CD under her belt entitled ³Stateside Sessions, Volume One, Mixed by Sage", and with two very successful singles on Phylum, Sage continues to gain respect from peers and fans alike. Part of the much-respected Phunckateck collective, Sage is undisputedly one of the best DJs in the US.
