How does one get their event stickied?

What is the criteria that is being used to "spotlight" events (ie... Sticky at the Top)?

At first I thought it was only for Syde-Sho events, but then I saw that Crystal Method and DublShot were stickied.

If this has already been asked or addressed, please point me to the info...

so... i guess... just ask? my event has been "stickied", but... really... i was just asking so that everyone would know what to do to make it happen...

their must be some kind of criteria because otherwise everyone would want their event stickied... and then that would just be pointless.

two weeks before an event. and if it's not stickied by then, a pm shot to a moderator will typically get it done.

.. i propose a moratorium on threads so they cannot be resuscitated after so long of inactivity unless explicitly chosen by a mod as relevant?
