I was reading over the old topics and the one about a raver day in worlds of fun got my attention and then a bright idea hit me. Why don't people have a raver day in a rave or in a club and that way they support the scene instead of taking drugs in public places and giving jaded people like me bad reps. thanks alot crackheads and e tards.

hey genius. not everyone that goes off on raver day is "half-cocked" on some chemical cocktail. in fact, a good portion of people that have gone have gone sober...or is that just too hard to fathom?

actually, there was one that the morons from Purerave sponsored(read: planned... they ain't got no cash)
and yea, EVERYONE was fried.
the first raver day @ WOF in 99 or so was fun. and we were all sober. the ones after that were lame. didnt go to those, though.

perhaps we should just segregate our raver asses from the general public. put us in concentration camps and such. wouldnt want to get raver goo on anyone in the real world. or even better. we should just rave constantly and never step out of the box. sounds realistic man. ill get on it.

Why does everyone assume that you have to be fucked up to be a part of a raver functoin??? I remember a party here like three years ago with pleasurehead...They had caffinated water! I was so happy...I danced the entire night! Man my legs hurt the next day. Some of the best events are the sober events. GAWWD! I guess it's true that one bad apple ruins the bunch. You know - they made parties in STL 18 and up... That solved alot of their problems. The promoters had to deal with the loss of a few heads for cash, but the lack of underage idiots rolling around on the floor was worth it.

The fact still remains that at some time or another, people will take drugs at an event, just the same as in concerts. I have yet to meet someone like myself who has been sober their whole life.

Pshh...where else can you get pure CMYK? MDMA doesn't nearly have the effects that CMYK does... I should buy one of those RGB patches to try to quit.

RND , have you ever thought that maybe your gettin a bad rep because your jade.... and not because friendly, spirited kids are making poor decisions? I think u need to stop worrying about your "rep" and grow up man (no offense) The simple fact still remains that if u can't rave without drugs your not a true raver.

I think that you misunderstood what I said, I am maybe jaded, that means that I don't use drugs, I did maybe a year after I started ravin and then I stopped about 8 months later when I went to a party and I happened to be sober and had to walk through puddles of 16 year old etards all over the floor in this party called animania over in California. This is when massives where at their peak. Also, this is back in 1997-98. I was watching DJ Dan and I remember paying attention to the way he was mixing and I think at that moment I decided to just enjoy that music. After a while I could not stay in that tent anymore and had to go to the Drum and Bass and the Hip hop tent since in the Trance and the House tent there was no space to dance since some many people were rollin on the floor. When I said that Raver day in Worlds of fun is a stupid Idea it was because in one of the responses talked about who was going to bring some E or Speed(not sure which one). I am not worried about my rep, I am more concerned with the rep and reprecussions that anyone associated with Electronic Scene might receive if police would pick up would be ravers with drugs in an amusement park, next thing you know events will get cancelled and record stores and anyone associated with the scene will be getting looked at by the police. (maybe extreme) that is why all the Massive events in Cali now have a 2 am Curfew, because of people overdosing and attracting attention to us, not me, US. Support the scene, go to a rave and dance not to a park, that does not give props to the local crews and DJs doing the events and by the way, support the DJ that might be going to play at the WMC in Miami even though it won't be you. and don't assume, read and understand before you make an
ASS out of U and ME.
