I will be unable to attend tonite\'s festivities because I just found out today that I owe the IRS some money and that huge tax return I was expecting to help pay off my old car will not be coming my way at all. Apparently I screwed up my W-4 and claimed 2 dependents which I obviously don\'t have, so the government wants what they didn\'t take out of my paychecks all year. What all this equals is that I won\'t be able to go anywhere or do anything for a long, long time. The only way I would be able to go tonite would be if some incredible saint took pity on my poor, stupid self and offered to pay my way in and pay for my gas to drive out there. I am not asking anyone to do this and I am certainly not expecting anyone to just jump up and volunteer, merely stating the facts. If I am unable to make it out, I wish all the DJs the best of luck and hope that the nite is absolutely amazing for all involved. Cheers.

Hey I dont know who got final scratch first. But I can tell you that Roland was the first dj in the KC area to get it working effectivly in a club or rave enviroment. We have had final scratch here at XO for about a year now (got it aorund the same time Roland did) and we are unable to use it here because of all the interferance caused by our huge sound and lighting system along with the UHF traffic from the bouncers radios. Ever since we got ahold of it I have also seen other djs attempt to set up their final scratch at other clubs with no luck, and several final scratch djs have tried to help us do it here at XO but to no avail.

I dont beleive I have met you before Blue, nor do I think I have ever seen you spin, but if you have been using final scratch in a club or rave enviroment since before March 2002 then I have to give you some credit cuz thats about when roland started using it at the Empire Room.

I\'m playing in Vegas Saturday the 8th... so hopefully I\'ll be recovered by the 13th...

Ebon - Sydeburnz is a good friend of mine, and he bought Finalscratch after playing on mine. Unfortunately, he still hasn\'t got his to work with his HP laptop, so he hasnt actually played out with it yet. The only time he\'s used his FS was at the syde-sho broadcast at my house, where he used my setup

My wish for Ultraviolet has always been to provide an example of a minimum standard that this town should have. Lawrence should already have a continental-class nightclub, considering the density of young people here -it\'s not as if the rest of America has never heard of Lawrence through the Jayhawks and the fact that back in the day it was the Haight-Ashbury of the midwest. Kansas City is known the world-over too. It\'s time that those who create obstacles realised that the future is electronic and it\'s better to help than to hinder.

Very nice show last night. The sound phuggin aces all the way. The light were a bit overwhelming for the venue IMHO but i hate lights. Lots of smoke, which is cool. You need to install the freezing mist blasts.
Shiva tore it up. Can\'t wait for Plaslaiko.. It was also cool seeing people i never see. Also nice to meet bhumble.. Lots of trashy ass girls there too but thats Lawrence.
