Chat Room Suggestion

People who either have popup blocking enabled in their browsers or have an external program for blocking popups have to turn it off to use the chat room. Could you either add a note to the chat page indicating this, or change the chat to work with popup blockers? (You could make it work with popup blockers by making the user click the link to launch the chat room directly on the chat page rather than making the chat page bring up the chat window as it loads.)

I use Mozilla ( http://www.mozilla.org ), and it has popup blocking built into the browser. Also, I believe Netscape 7, which is based on Mozilla, has it also, but I\'m not for sure. In the current version of Mozilla, you can either block popups from specific sites by going Tools -> Pop-up Manager -> Block Pop-ups from this site, or to block them from all sites, you can go to the preferences (Edit -> Preferences), and under Privacy & Security -> Popups, selecting to reject popups. I think this way of doing it only works in the more recent version, so if Netscape does have it, you might have to do it by going to the preferences, and under Advanced -> Scripts & Plugins, unchecking the \"Allow scripts to open unrequested windows\" option (this way will work for the newer versions too).

Kourtney go to hotfiles.com and do a search for pop up blockers! That site is a great site that has free downloads for everything! They also rate everything so you know what works and what doesnt!

I\'m going to try download.com thats where i get all my stuff from. Does anyone have suggestiond for spyware? Or does this program prevent those sneaky pop-ups that get in your computer. I used one and it ended up deleting part of my Kazaa. So now I\'m kinda weary about it!
