In October of 2000, Syde-sho.com switched up its mission and we added features for the local scene to promote their shows and have a place to meet up online to discuss whatever was important to us at the time. It is hard to believe it has been 10 years, and even harder to imagine that we are still here through all that we have been through.

Over the years, I have met many of you, some of us have become great friends. Some use the site as just a place to find out about events, some have met their current spouses here. Wow. Regardless, you have always been welcome to log in, lurk, speak your mind and even talk a little trash. It has been fun!

We are still here and want to encourage the new people to start some conversations. The days of the drama seem to be long gone now and you should use this opportunity to use the site to start your own friendships and introduce yourself to those still around.

With that being said, we are proud to be coming back out, playing some music and meeting new people. We will be in KC for 5 days and here are the details:

i will put up some pics tomorrow, but i just added (2) 32 inch flat panels to my desktop.....

i now have a 42 inch in the middle, with a 32 inch on either side.... all seen as one giant monitor with eyefinity (ati multi diplay)

i have set up 3 projectors before, but this is 3 16:9 HD displays, where as the projectors were 4:3 and not nearly as bright and crisp as sitting 3 feet away from a lcd panel

i just played some crysis and it was fucking incredible
